Board meetings will start this month on the second and fourth Thursday’s at 9 AM in the Board Room in the Clubhouse. They will also be on Zoom. All residents are invited to attend. If you wish to bring a matter before the Board, you must contact me or the office at least 72 hours before the meeting to be placed on the agenda.
Most of the summer is finished, and the park is looking good. The pavers along the south side of the clubhouse are done, and it is a big improvement to the walkway which is the main entrance to the clubhouse. The maintenance staff and Pam have worked very hard this summer.
Any resident may run for the Board. Each year there are three openings. If you are interested, get an application from the office, complete it, and return to the office along with a short, one page resume. You may insert a picture of yourself on your resume. This helps residents to identify your name and face. The office must receive these documents by the end of December. The election is held in February.
This winter season we will be taking pictures of all the residents for a new pictorial directory. The last pictorial was done in 2016 and we have many new residents and lots of changes. The first pictures will be November 25 and 26 this year. You will have more information next month including more dates, the times available, and where this will be done. I encourage everyone to have their picture taken and included in the pictorial.
Many of our winter residents have returned or will this month. Please be careful driving, and have a safe journey to Florida. We are looking forward to seeing everyone.
